Vision Statement
The Center for ASL/English Bilingual Education and Research (CAEBER) envisions high academic achievement for deaf and hard-of-hearing students by facilitating proficiency in both American Sign Language and English and providing professional development in ASL/English teaching and learning, as well as the effective use of classroom language planning and cutting-edge technology to facilitate development of both languages academically.
Mission Statement
The Mission of CAEBER is to provide a bilingual professional development service that fosters informed educational mentorship and leadership, as well as provide collaborative opportunities for educators that implement and administer ASL/English bilingual professional development utilizing school-based language planning strategies.
