International Student Statistics

Each academic year, the Office of International Programs and Services (OIPS) compiles statistics of the international student and scholar population at Gallaudet University. Since the founding of Gallaudet University in 1864, over 1000 international Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing students have been educated here. Today, students from 52 countries are represented at Gallaudet! OIPS harbors great pride in the contributions of our students, alumni, visitors, and potential students to the development of opportunities and access for Deaf people worldwide.
