Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for keeping track of progress toward their degrees. The final responsibility for knowing all policies and procedures stated in the catalog remains with the student.

Academic Accommodations Policy

Gallaudet University has a legal obligation under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities in addition to being deaf.  Students who seek course accommodations, modifications, or substitutions can find guidelines and procedures for obtaining accommodations based on their disabilities on the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSWD) web site, sa.gallaudet.edu/oswd.xml.  The Reasonable Accommodation policy is also online:  gallaudet.edu/af/ao_s110.xml
