"The Deafhood Monologues"

The Deafhood Monologes, an episodic play of Deaf experiences, chronicles, and reflections delivered through poetry, stories, and presentation in American Sign Language, will be performed on Friday, March 29, at Andrew Foster Auditorium, and Friday, April 5 at Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H St. NE, Washington, D.C. The play is Inspired by Understanding Deaf Culture: In Search of Deafhood and The Vagina Monologues.

The play will be presented at Foster Auditorium at the following times:

  • 3 p.m. - $25
  • 7:30 p.m. -$50 with Encore (drinks, refreshments, social time, and meet the performers and the show's creator, Ella Mae Lentz)

The Atlas Performing Arts Center presentation will be at 8 p.m., ticket prices are $40.
