University Honors Capstone Presentations
This year Gallaudet University celebrates a record-breaking 12 capstones. This number represents a 300% increase over our previous record. Because of this large number, the format for presentations to the university community has shifted from individual power point presentations to a poster session with 12 individual posters. Common to many professional conferences today, posters allow greater interaction with each presenter and more focused questioning.
Stop by any time on Thursday, May 9 between noon and 3 p.m. in the SLCC Atrium to see this demonstration of the pinnacle of undergraduate academic achievement.
The capstones represent original contributions ranging from creative writing to social science research and our first service learning project. For brief abstracts of each project, please see the attached document.
