Petition supports keeping Gallaudet in primary name for Metro station

A petition is being circulated in support of keeping Gallaudet in the primary name for the University's nearest Metro station. A proposed change would rename the Metro station from New York Ave-Florida Ave-Gallaudet U to NOMA/New York Ave, with Gallaudet U subtitled underneath. Gallaudet U would no longer be in the primary station name.

The petition states a number of reasons why the Gallaudet community feels the University deserves recognition by keeping Gallaudet in the station's primary name.
