"Gallaudet Finds Deaf People Don't See Better, They See Differently," a feature by Rebecca Sheir, host/producer of WAMU's "Metro Connection," on a study conducted on deaf people's "visual attention," aired June 28 on the radio program. Read a transcript of the program, based on studies conducted by researchers Matt Dye, Peter Hauser, and Daphne Bavelier at The Science of Learning Center (SLC) on Visual Language and Visual Learning (VL2), one of six SLCs funded by the National Science Foundation.
