Many opportunities to reconnect
The Office of Alumni Relations works hard everyday to keep you connected to Gallaudet, both by preserving the memories of the past as well as creating memories for the future. Throughout the year, we've planned a variety of events, both on and off campus. So "come home" for a bit, reminisce with old friends and renew your ties to Gallaudet.
Some of the upcoming events include: Homecoming and class reunions in the fall; Basketball Madness, a mini-Homecoming event in the winter; and in the spring we have Charter Day to recognize the founding of the University and the Gallaudet Golf Open.
Throughout the year and around the country there are also many other opportunities to reconnect. Local chapters sponsor dinners, BBQs, and other get-togethers. We also host Gallaudet Clubs in conjunction with deaf-related events, sports events, or high school Academic Bowl competitions.
We also have booths at conferences such as the World Federation of the Deaf, the National Association of the Deaf, the DeafNation Expo, Asian Congress for the Deaf, Deaf Seniors of America, Deaf Women United, and the National Black Deaf Advocates. It's a great opportunity to meet up with old friends, talk to our staff, join GUAA, or update your addresses.
