Carrie St. Cyr was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her bachelor's degree in Self-Directed International Education at Gallaudet University in May of 2010. While she was still in High School, Carrie spent a year abroad as an exchange student in Germany. This experience introduced her to many new people including her husband. Studying abroad and life experiences led Carrie to pursue her masters in International Development. 

Carrie enjoys traveling, photography, film making, painting and spoiling her cat. In the past six years, she has managed to travel to 30 different countries but still believes that there is much more to explore. Carrie recently finished her practicum with InterAction. During which she helped the the organization prepare for their international conference.
