Hello, my name is Chelsea Overly-Carvallo. As you may have already inferred I am beginning a journey into the world of International Development. I have had the opportunity to live in Mexico for the duration of one year and during that time I was able to get a feel for the realities existing today in the world. I have studied Spanish and have used Spanish effectively in many situations. My undergrad work was in Interpreting. I have lived and worked as an interpreter in the Grater DC area for three years. I also interpreted in Tampa, Florida prior to moving to this area. I look forward to this exciting endeavor and look forward to networking and being a part of a supportive and encouraging ID cohort here at Gallaudet University!
