Jennifer Powers grew up in Washington, DC, and worked for several years as the coordinator of a grant from the National Science Foundation at the Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf in Trenton, New Jersey. She holds a Master's degree in Drama Therapy from New York University and has worked in the fields of mental health, education, theater, politics and as an online web consultant. She enjoys playing with technology, watching movies, hiking, swimming, traveling and spending time with her family.
