Short Biography

Cindy is the Adult Degree Programs Coordinator for the Adult Degree Program. She is a doctorial student in Postsecondary and Adult Education at Capella University. Before becoming Coordinator, she worked in Gallaudet's Enrollment Management for one year and worked for Gallaudet's Tutorial & Instructional Programs for 14 years. She has taught First Year Seminar, presented at many conferences, given online training, and published articles on tutoring deaf and hard of hearing adults. Currently, she works with Dr. Mary T. Weiner on developing and expanding Gallaudet's Adult Degree Programs to provide degree-seeking opportunities for deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing adult learners.
