Short Biography
Mary Lynn who has lived in Maryland for many years, retired from the Maryland School for the Deaf, Frederick, after working there for many years, first as a teacher and then principal. Over the years Mary Lynn has served various positions on different boards and organizations from being one of the founders of the Free State (MD) GUAA Chapter, now defunct Deaf Access Services, Alpha Gamma Chapter of the Phi Kappa Zeta Sorority, Frederick Chapter of Deaf Seniors of America, and is currently on the Deaf Seniors of America - Baltimore 2013 Conference Management Team. While a student at Gallaudet, Mary Lynn was both vice president of social and cultural affairs for the Student Body Government (SBG), vice president of the Phi Kappa Zeta sorority, Editor for Student Affairs for the Tower Clock, an active member of the Class of 1966, and President of the Inter-Sorority Council.
Mary Lynn currently resides in Frederick, MD.
