Short Biography
Louis, who lived in Maryland for many years before relocating to Florida where he plays pickleball and golf every day while continuing to serve as financial advisor for his investment advisory firm, Schwarz Financial Services, LLC, which is still in Maryland. Prior to establishing his company, Louis used to work as a chemist for the US Geological Survey.In Louis' free time, Louis has helped found several organizations which also include the Central Florida GUAA Chapter, National Deaf Business Institute and Tri-County Association of the Deaf both of which he also served as president. Louis has also served on the board of the National Disability Institute, Senior Sunshine Deaf Golf Association, Telecommunications Access System Act, Florida Association of the Deaf, and is currently president of the Class of 1968.
While a student at Gallaudet, Louis was involved with the Student Body Government (SBG), vice president of Hillel Club, business manager for both the Buff and Blue and Tower Clock, manager of the swimming team, and a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.
Louis resides in The Villages, Florida with his wife, Doris (Fowler) Schwarz, '69.
