Alyce retired in December 2012 as a professor at Ohlone College in Fremont, CA. Alyce, who grew up in Florida, previously taught at California School for the Deaf, Fremont, and Louisiana School for the Deaf.
As a student at Gallaudet, Alyce was involved in various organizations and served in different positions from being President of her class during her Senior year, secretary for the Student Body Government (SBG), to serving on numerous committees for the SBG, to being an active member of the Phi Kappa Zeta sorority. Alyce was also a cheerleader during the football season.
Since graduating from Gallaudet, Alyce has been an active participant of both California Association of the Deaf and National Association of the Deaf. Alyce has also taught English to Speakers of Other Languages, and served as secretary for the NorCal Chapter of GUAA. Alyce also was both secretary and vice president of the GUAA Board of Directors.
Alyce and David Reynolds, '76, reside in Fremont, CA.
