Dr. Wang has been a member of the Gallaudet University faculty since 1988. She has developed and taught a full range of CIS courses and mentored numerous students to achieve IT certifications sponsored by the industry. Her mission is to help students reach their potentials and prepare them for challenging career opportunities laying ahead.
Dr. Wang has a keen interest in research and application of education technology that enhances the instruction and learning of deaf and hard of hearing college students. She has conducted several studies experimenting the blended learning design and delivery systems that integrate e-Learning with classroom instructions. Her study results were published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
Dr. Wang is also an ardent volunteer in local communities during her free time. She has served as newsletter editor and web master for several public schools in both Arlington and Fairfax Counties. She was the President of Academic Boosters, Inc. at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, a Virginia Governor's School. Indeed, Dr. Wang takes pride in her passion and ability to nurture the MIND whether at the university or primary and secondary schools.
