Short Biography
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Karen first arrived at Gallaudet in
1979 and has worked in various positions on campus for the past 33
years.  Her work assignments have included being a full-time resident
advisor and then a Coordinator of Residence Education (CRE) in the
Office of Residence Life, Coordinator of Paraprofessional Programs,
followed by 18 years as an Academic Advisor.  Karen moved into the
Career Center in July of 2010 as Interim Director and has enjoyed
being a part of students' career development and their plans for "Life
after Gallaudet".
