Monica joined the Career Center in the spring of 2009 and serves as the Employer Relations Specialist. She provides strategic guidance to existing employers and is responsible for employer recruiting and outreach; on-campus recruiting activities and services. Monica also develops partnerships with new employers to build relationships with those interested in providing new internship and job opportunities. Prior to joining Gallaudet’s Career Center she held a Corporate Recruitment and Benefits Specialist position within a local non-profit whose mission is to create jobs and opportunities for people with differing disabilities. Monica holds an MBA from Trinity University and a BS from Coppin State University.  She has dedicated her professional career to making a difference in the lives of persons who have been traditionally underrepresented in the workplace.
