Matt's expertise lies in ensuring that the relationships between Gallaudet University and donor are properly maintained. This is being done by providing the donors appropriate recognition for their contribution, maintaining the file system, oversee the naming opportunities process, coordinate the acknowledgement letter process, and also review the legal documents such as memorandum of understanding to ensure that it's consistent with current best practices in fundraising field. He also provides the staff training on our practices here.

He is originally from Michigan and attended Rochester Institute of Technology for a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, and George Washington University for a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree with a concentration in nonprofit management and fundraising. He has also taken several PhD courses in administration and supervision at Gallaudet. For the last fall semesters, he taught a night course with the Department of Business and has been working for Gallaudet for six years.
