Janice Johnson grew up in a military family which took her on travels across the United States throughout her childhood. Prior to working at Gallaudet University, she worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a legal assistant for a law firm. She has been an employee at Gallaudet University since 1983. She has worked in various departments and units on campus and is currently the Program Coordinator in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. As a professional staff, she’s developed a rewarding relationship with Gallaudet’s diverse, multicultural community and serves in the capacity of providing information related to education, diversity, assessment, areas of research, data tracking, management and analysis, budgeting, event planning, marketing and technical support. Janice is an avid athlete and sport enthusiast. She also enjoys learning new technology, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
