Short Biography
Mr. Pancost has taught at Gallaudet since 1981. Before that, he taught at Appalachian State University. He has published on Nathaniel Hawthorne, Washington Irving, Henry James, and Herman Melville. He has served as department chair, special assistant to the President, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology. Currently he is serving as faculty fellow in the Provost's office, where he supervises MSCHE activities and provides administrative assistance to the Provost. He also is a trustee of Wabash College.
