Short Biography
Kari Bahl, from Faribault, Minnesota, is a staff interpreter for GIS. She holds a National Interpreter Certification (NIC), and has been interpreting professionally since 2002; Kari has been with GIS since 2005. She has a Bachelor's degree in German Studies from the University of Minnesota and a Master's degree in Interpretation from Gallaudet University. Kari's areas of interest include: working with children, medical, community, legal, linguistics and athletic interpreting. Her proudest moment as an interpreter is when she found out that she passed her NIC test after waiting 6 months for her test results..jpg)
