Marianne Doremus
 
Short Biography

Marianne Doremus has Comprehensive Skills Certificate (CSC) and National Interpreter Certification (NIC). Marianne has been professionally interpreting since 1979 and has been with GIS since 2008. Her areas of interest include Educational, Mental Health, and Tours.

Marianne received PCRID’s 2002 Professional Service Award Served as PCRID’s Chesapeake Bay Subchapter Representative 2000-2002; Coordinated Professional Development activities for interpreters on the Eastern Shore of Maryland; worked closely with independent living center consumers & Deaf individuals on the Eastern Shore of MD; established Sign Language Club at Parkside High School in Salisbury MD; co-taught ASL Classes in Salisbury MD.
