Sheri was born and raised in Texas. Sheri attended and graduated from Texas School for the Deaf. She earned her Bachelor's degree in History from Gallaudet University in 1998 and Masters in Deaf Education from Lamar University in 2002.
Over the years, Sheri taught different topics in various settings including elementary school, community center and university. In the past 3 years, she taught several language courses with the English Department, the Department of Applied Literacy, English Language Institute, American Sign Language/ Deaf Studies Department at Gallaudet University and American Sign Language Program at Montgomery College.
Now, Sheri enjoys serving full-time as an eLearning Specialist with eLearning and Web Authoring, a unit of Gallaudet Technology Services. She lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband, Peter Un.
