Robin has been a clinical educator within the Department of Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences at Gallaudet University since 1990. In addition, Robin is the Internship Coordinator for the Speech Language Pathology program. With Gallaudet University located in the nation's capital, our graduate students have access to many incredible internship placements; both medical and educational.

Prior to working at Gallaudet University, Robin was employed by the Charlottesville Public Schools. There, she worked with hard of hearing and deaf students in both Elementary and Secondary schools. In addition, during the summers Robin had the opportunity to work at the University of Virginia as a part time clinical supervisor.

Robin completed her undergraduate studies in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She subsequently obtained her Master's degree from Indiana University. Upon graduation, Robin completed her Clinical Fellowship in Fishersville, Virginia at the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center. She worked primarily with patients who had suffered strokes or spinal cord injuries.

Robin supervises primarily in the area of Adult Neurogenic Communication Disorders; however, her other interests include pediatric Aural Rehabilitation and Language Disorders. She also currently co-teaches the Diagnostic Course to first year SLP graduate students and participates in many committees.
