Short Biography
Antoinette Allen is currently a Speech Language Pathologist at the Gallaudet University Hearing and Speech Center. Ms. Allen has been a member of Gallaudet University's Department of Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences intermittently since 1988. Her interest in service provision to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals developed from 1984-1987 when she worked with deaf and hard-of-hearing children in the Baltimore City Public School system. She has also provided speech-language pathology and aural rehabilitation services to children in Europe as a member of the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. In addition, she has had the position of Clinical Supervisor/ Clinical Educator for graduate clinicians at both Gallaudet University and Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. She has presented both locally and nationally on topics related to traditional service provision, aural rehabilitation and clinical supervision.Licensure
