Short Biography
Michelle Malta graduated with a B.S. from Western Michigan University in 1992 and a M.S. and Au.D. from Gallaudet University in 1995 and 2002 respectively. Dr. Malta began her career in Chicago, IL working in a multidisciplinary family-centered medical facility. She then moved on to Northwestern University's Chicago campus supervising graduate students for their clinic practicum. Dr. Malta returned to Gallaudet University's Hearing Speech and Language Sciences Department in 1998 as a clinical supervisor. She currently provides audiological services including hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations/fittings for members of the Gallaudet community and the Washington DC metro area and also supervises graduate students for the clinic practicum. Dr. Malta's interests include hearing aids, amplification options for deaf individuals, assistive listening devices especially music applications.
