SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Gibbons is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Gallaudet University where she teaches in the school psychology program.  She is a nationally certified school psychologist with experience providing a range of psychoeducational services in a variety of settings.  She received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University in January 2009.  Her dissertation research involved a national survey of >350 school psychologists and was focused on the role of the school psychologist in making educational placement decisions for deaf and hard of hearing students.
