Dr. Paul Sabila completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, at the University of Connecticut (2008). Dr. Sabila earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Connecticut (2006) and his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Nairobi in Kenya (1999). His dissertation work was on the preparation of strained organic compounds (heterocycles) and the preparation of natural product-like organic compounds. While studying for his doctorate, he completed an internship at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Dr. Sabila has also worked as an assistant Quality control Manager (Gesto Pharmaceuticals, Kenya) and as a Medical Representative (Phillips Pharmaceuticals, Kenya). He is a member of the American Chemical Society, Organic Division.
