Since 1987, Teresa Mason has worked as a social worker, primarily in the fields of health and mental health. In 1988, she expanded her practice to include deaf and hard of hearing individuals. In 2000, she became a full-time faculty member in the Social Work Department at Gallaudet University. She engages in ongoing research and thoroughly enjoys teaching the research sequence in the M.S.W. program.
