Gallaudet Interpreting Service (GIS) has been operating since 1990; And since 1990, GIS has continued to offer the skills of certified interpreters with the experience and merit necessary to provide the Gallaudet community and Washington metropolitan area with quality access, as expected by the Americans with Disabilities Act. GIS offers 3 different services which are Management, Office Staff and Staff Interpreters. Each category of service reinforces the other as a team to make Gallaudet Interpreting Service successful.
