SSL VPN for Apple

To install SSL VPN, you need to have an administrator install the software on your computer. If you do not have administrative rights to your computer, please submit a helpdesk ticket by e-mailing helpdesk@gallaudet.edu.

1. Open Safari.  (NOTE: Other browsers such as Firefox or Chrome will not work)
2. Navigate to http://remote.gallaudet.edu
3. Log in using your Gallaudet username and password and then click on Sign In
   
   
4. You may see a pop-up window asking whether it is okay for "remote.gallaudet.edu" to access your computer.  Check Allow all applets and then click on Allow
   
   
5. If you see the Setup Control Warning for Host Checker, click on Always
   
   
6. If you see the Java warning, click on Allow
   
   
7. You will be prompted to log in again.  Type your username and password to your computer.
   
   
8. You should see a Network Connect window which shows that you are connected to the Gallaudet network.
   
   
9. When you have completed your SSL VPN connection to Gallaudet, click on Sign Out in the above window.  You will be prompted again, click on Sign Out again.
