The exhibition, "Hendrick Avercamp: The Little Ice Age," is on view in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. Avercamp, 1585-1634, known as the "Mute of Kampen," was a Dutch landscape artist specializing in winter scenes of skating, sleigh rides and outdoor games on frozen waterways.
A pilot program developed by the National Gallery of Art and Gallaudet University offers signed exhibition tours by Gallaudet students and alumni, and lectures and programs associated with the exhibition are interpreted. For more information about the exhibition, visit the National Gallery of Art.
