On Tuesday, April 17, at 1:30 p.m. the Gallaudet University Athletics Department held a special ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly named Thomas O. Berg Track located at Hotchkiss Field. The campus community was invited to attend this free event to celebrate the life of Thomas O. Berg (Class of 1944), former legendary Gallaudet University track and field coach. Spectators gathered just outside the track area by the Hotchkiss Field and Thomas O. Berg Track sign.
