On September 1st, 2011, Dr. Angela McCaskill, deputy to the president and associate provost for diversity and inclusion, invited the campus community to join President Alan Hurwitz, Provost Stephen Weiner, the new Diversity Fellows, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) staff for a meet and greet.

The reception was an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and administrators to learn about the roles of the Diversity Fellows-their ideas and perspectives about making Gallaudet University a more diverse, inclusive, and connected community.

ODI continues to be committed to diversity and inclusiveness consistent with the University's commitment to academic excellence and the role that a community of scholars with diverse backgrounds and experiences contributes to achieving that goal.
