The Gallaudet University campus community was invited to come out to a special send off celebration for the women's volleyball team Thursday, November 8 in front of the Field House before the Bison left for the NCAA tournament in Newport News, Va. for the 2012 NCAA Division III women's volleyball tournament.

The Bison (31-6) will face Randolph-Macon College (23-6) on Friday, Nov. 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Freeman Center at Christopher Newport University in the first round. This is Gallaudet's third straight appearance in the NCAA tournament and ninth overall. GU has won three consecutive North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championships.
