Blackboard: Ready-Set-Go
Do you want to get a jump-start on using My.Gallaudet to enhance your course? Come to this workshop to learn how to upload your syllabus to My.Gallaudet, send a quick email to the entire class at once, or make announcements in your online course. You'll never have to reprint a syllabus again.

We will show you how to compress your video for for more efficient online web streaming and using Gallaudet's MyMedia to store your streaming video files.

Course Evaluations for Department Secretaries
Department Secretaries (and department chairs in some cases) are responsible for conducting and managing course evaluations at the end of each semester. We strongly encourage all academic departments to use Blackboard to conduct their course evaluations. Come to this session to learn how to conduct and manage your evaluation tasks through the use of Respondus and Blackboard.

Why not build an eportfolio to showcase your work or a special project? Or create a template for your students to help them create their own? Come to this workshop to learn how to upload your portfolio materials to the Content Collection, and then get up and running with the Portfolio Creation Wizard.

Blogs and Wikis!
Come see a new way for your students to add content to your Blackboard course site and beyond. Then let them do their own thing - give them them the Blog tool for personal journaling, or keep internship and practicum logs. Or let them use the wiki tool to collaborate on projects, which allows the instructor to easily track and assess the contribution of each team member.

We have a new feature of Blackboard called 'Scholar' that will help you further share information with your students through "social bookmarking." del.icio.us is a social bookmarking third-party support that also provides a shortcut link collection of your favorite websites, articles, blogs, and more and share them with your students through Bb that you can use in addition to Bb's Scholar.
