Using Video-Based Applications
YouTube; MyThread; iMovie; and Windows Movie Maker. How are they different from each other? Which video application works best for my course and course objective(s)? Will the application accomplish the curricular goals? A series of five workshops will cover ideas, case studies, and best practices in integration of video applications and assignments including ample hands-on experiences. (2 sessions offered)
Session 1: June 1-5
Session 2: June 8-12
9 am to noon
Limit: 10 faculty/staff per session ($500 stipend will be available for 9/10-month faculty)

Research Grants
Does use of learning technologies (Blackboard, TurningPoint, MyThread, and a myriad of other technology software/tools) really, truly, absolutely improve student learning?
Academic Technology seeks partnerships with faculty to conduct research and data analysis to identify the impact and the findings will be published. ($1,000 stipend will be available for 9/10-month faculty)
