eCurriculum 2010: iPad Pilot
Opportunity for Four (4) Faculty/Staff to Participate in a iPad Pilot Test for Educational Uses

What is iPad?
According to Apple website, iPad is the best way to experience the web, email, photos, and video. Technology has been rapidly changing the way that educators teach and create curriculum and how students process information and communicate with each other. More and more educators and students are depending on mobile devices for their academic teaching and studying.
Universities are researching on how best to integrate technology with curriculum with different kind of technology and mobile technology is one of the hottest technology out there. With mobile devices such as Kindle (eBook) and iPad may change the way we teach and learn. Selected participants will receive an iPad to use during the Fall semester (and to keep after the successful completion of the pilot test).
Blackboard Mobile
Blackboard developed an app called Blackboard Mobile Learn which will work with any mobile devices (Android, BlackBerry, iPhone/iPod Touch/ iPad). This app will provide educators and students access to their course resources on Blackboard on mobile devices. They will receive instant feedback and upload their assignments using their own mobile devices anywhere and anytime.
