Hello, my name is Nick Pezzarossi. I am the Acting Chair for GSC, Gallaudet Staff Council formerly known as SAC.

Today, I want to make a few announcement on what had happened last month. Last month, Staff and council members met to discuss ideas for bylaws and suggestions to make GSC more visible by hosting Happy Hour, Professional Development and so forth. We also develop an agenda for our meeting with Dr. Hurwitz which will be on January 12. I also wanted to inform you that the meeting with Dr. Hurwitz is closed for Staff Council Members only to focus on bylaws. Our goal is to complete the bylaw to bring it to the board next month to obtain vote to recognize our organization and to obtain shared governace with the Faculty and Students. Our next meeting will be open to staff on February 9th at Fowler Hall. We hope to see you there!
