Welcome to the Gallaudet University's Benefits website. Gallaudet University offers a comprehensive benefits package to its regular status staff, faculty, and teachers. This website will enable you to view detailed information regarding each benefit offered by the University. Please refer to the links on the left side.  The Benefits Office is also available to assist you in understanding and maximizing your benefits. UPCOMING EVENTS 
4/23/2013: Introduction to Yoga
This demonstration teaches the participant to combine meditation, stretching, and breathing exercises in order to relax, refresh and rejuvenate them.  The class will be held in the Field House, Delta Zeta Dance Studio from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM.

4/30/2013: Eating to Maximize your Workout
Exercising is a key component to weight maintenance and weight loss. The food you are eating can dictate how affective your workout is and the wrong fuel can prohibit weight loss and the creation of lean muscle mass. Learn how to build a meal plan that will set you up for success so you have continuous fuel and adequate protein to sustain you through any exercise.  This workshop will be held in JSAC Room 1011 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM.

5/2/2013: Becoming a New Homeowner
Purchasing your first home requires a lot of planning. Delta Payne, a certified financial counselor, will review the steps to purchasing a home. If you are interested in attending this workshop, please send an email to benefits@gallaudet.edu. The workshop will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in College Hall, Room 406.

5/6/2013: GU WIN Mix it Up Post-Competion Screening
This screening is available for all GU WIN Mix it Up participants.  Kaiser Permanente nurses will be available to provide screening for weight, blood pressure and body mass index.  In order to be eligible for the Most Improved Individual category, particants are required to attend this screening.  The screening will be held in the JSAC Multipurpose Room from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM.  

5/9/2013: GU WIN Mix it Up Closing Ceremony
The winners of the GU WIN Mix it Up competition will be announced.  The closing ceremony will be held in the JSAC Multipurpose Room from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM.
