Creates and regularly updates admissions database files; maintains the accuracy and integrity of the Admissions Office database; produces reports; assists in special projects related to database administration; provides a positive image of Gallaudet University and its impact on students in terms of academic growth, professional preparation, and personal growth, and promotes Gallaudet as an excellent place to pursue an undergraduate education.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer-related field and minimum one year of experience. Evidence of experience in feeding data, running queries, analyzing data and producing reports to assigned area of work (i.e., recruitment, admissions, communication flow, etc.). Knowledge of and familiarity with database systems and SQL. Ability to communicate complex issues regarding data entry enhancement. Must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadline pressures. Evidence of excellent organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively in person and as a member of a team. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills.
