The Department of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in its undergraduate business administration program.

Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in business administration or a business-related discipline, with specialties in finance or related areas. University level teaching experience and increasingly responsible experience in private business and/or the government utilizing financial analysis strongly preferred. Applicants with a Master's degree with extensive and relevant work and teaching experience may also be considered;
Applicant must possess strong quantitative and technology skills;
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable; if not already proficient, a new faculty member must develop proficiency in ASL in accordance with Gallaudet University guidelines;
Record of publication, survey, research, consulting and other activities demonstrating the use of financial analysis for business and/or government decision-making purposes highly desirable.
• To be considered for tenure at Gallaudet University, a candidate must possess a Ph.D./terminal degree in their field
Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate business administration core courses, with an emphasis on finance, economics and quantitative business courses. Serve as advisor and mentor to undergraduate business majors. Conduct research, individually and/or collaboratively with other members of the academic community. Fulfill program, department and university service assignments. Perform other duties assigned by the chairperson of the Department of Business.
Compensation:
Instructor or Assistant Professor position. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Appointment will be for the regular nine-month academic year.
