Honors Probation
Purpose
Honors Probation is for students who are not in good standing with the Honors Program. That is, a student who's cumulative GPA is between 2.7 and 3.199 or a student who received a C in an Honors course. This probation gives students one semester to pull up the GPA. The Honors Program recognizes that all students may have a tough semester, and we intend this to be a mechanism to support students as they get back on their feet. This is a required activity for any student not in good standing who wishes to retain their Honors Lounge privileges, receive the Honors Scholarship for that semester, and continue in Honors.
