Merit-Based Scholarships
Gallaudet University offers several merit-based scholarships for students of distinction. The two Honors Distinction Scholarships require admission to and participation in the Honors Program. Students must also successfully complete the summer requirements for Honors Program to receive the Honors Distinction scholarships. Below are the regulations governing the disbursement of the scholarships.

President's Honors Distinction Scholarship
Requires a GPA of 3.2 from your previous institution, ACT scores of 26 or higher on English and Reading, or 600 - 800 in critical reading for the SAT.

Provost's Honors Distinction Scholarship
Requires a GPA of 3.2 from your previous institution, ACT scores of 22 - 25 on English and Reading, or 570 - 599 in critical reading for the SAT.

Please note: Students who are awarded the President's Honors Distinction or the Provost's Honors Distinction Scholarships and are either not accepted to Honors or who decline their offer of admission to Honors will have their scholarship award reduced to the Provost's Excellence Scholarship.
