Deaf Schools in Japan

Today we'd like to inform you about what is going on in Japan. Principals and superintendents from schools in seven prefectures - which are like states in Japan - have given reports on twelve deaf schools. The students and teachers from those schools are all fine. Unfortunately the heating supply (gas) and water supply are not back to normal yet. Some buildings survived, while others were damaged. Many students report that they are still in shock after the earthquake and are not getting a full night's sleep yet. Donations from around Japan have been brought to Miyagi Prefecture.
