President’s Merit-Based Scholarship Awards

President's Scholarship with Honors Program Enrollment
Full tuition, Room & Board for 4 years (fees not included)

Potential Recipient Award Criteria

Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet, accepted into the Honors Program, and who accept the offer of participation in the Honors Program.

 

1. Tuition, Room, and Board (up to basic costs for 190 or 220 block plan) for 4 years

2. Students pay fees themselves 3. GPA and related requirements must be met each semester to continue award

1. Achievement of honor, distinction, or merit in one or more of the following areas: general scholarship; community service/ leadership; creative/ performing/ visual arts; and/or other areas worthy of recognition

2. Minimum cumulative high school GPA: 3.0 (on 4.0 scale). Adjustments may be made for recognized Honors and/or Advanced Placement courses taken in high school.

3. ACT Scores of at least 24 in both Reading and English or SAT Scores of at least 1090 in both Critical Reading and Mathematics

4. Acceptance of Offer of Admissions into the Honors Program is required

Full tuition, and Partial Room and Board, equaling a total of $16,000 per year for 4 years (fees not included)

Potential Recipient Award Criteria

1. Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet but not admitted to the Honors Program

2. Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet and admitted to the Honors Program but who declined the offer to be in the Honors Program

 

1. Full tuition, plus partial Room and Board (on campus) equaling a total of $16,000 per year for 4 years

2. Students pay fees themselves

3. GPA and related requirements must be met each semester to continue awar

1. Achievement of honor, distinction, or merit in one or more of the following areas: general scholarship; community service/ leadership; creative/ performing/ visual arts; and/or other areas worthy of recognition
