Patrick Conway and Julia Velasquez '07 - B.S. Biology - Post-Bac Fellows

Julia Velasquez graduated from Gallaudet with a B.S. degree in Biology in 2007. Patrick Conway also graduated from Gallaudet in 2007, with dual B.S. degrees in Biology and Computer Science. Both were post-baccalauraeate ("post-bac") or CRTA fellows at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, where they worked in the laboratory of Dr. Peter Blumberg, researching novel drugs to treat cancer and pain.  Larry Pearce, another Gallaudet alumnus, is a staff scientist in Dr. Blumberg's laboratory.
