Degree Completion

Degree Completion is for adult learners who have accumulated 80 hours of college credits toward a bachelor's degree, either at Gallaudet or at other institutions, and who elect to transfer to Gallaudet to successfully finish that degree. Exceptions can be made based on the review of the Adult Degree Program Admissions Committee and representatives from designated major or minor programs. Candidates will be assigned a faculty advisor from their designated major or minor programs. This advisor will work with the learner to develop a comprehensive degree plan that outlines the coursework and assessment path toward B.A. or B.S. degree completion. A degree earned through the Adult Degree Program will be indicated on the learner's transcript.
