The Core Curriculum is a set of courses that all Unit Administrators are required to complete. Unit Administrators are expected to complete the Core by June 1, 2008, or two years from the date of appointment. Additional courses in the area of leadership or employee education may be offered from time to time.
The Framework for Leadership sequence focuses on the human elements of leadership and is intended to help participants reflect on personal leadership philosophies, styles, and the "people skills" needed to be an effective leader. The schedule will try to make it possible for classmates to complete the series together, to maximize trust and learning. It is important to note that these courses will build upon each other, so they should be taken in sequence.
